Pressurizing Cabin / Firing through Seats

I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima GLE and you can see my upcoming setup in my sig.

I want to fire the two max's through the port to the trunk that is characteristic of maximas. I was curious if anyone has any knowledge of someone trying something like this before, etc. I would of course be doing everything I could to completely seal it off from the trunk so no air would escape the cabin.

Any input is greatly appreciated, good or bad.

Thanks in advance.

Here's the closest example I could find to what I want to do, except mine wouldnt be IB.

I would be firing it into the cabin w/ the armrest down, and it would be a MDF box w/ a plexi window on the trunk side.

i saw an article on this in lowrider magazine ("porting the rear deck") all they did was cut out 2 holes in the rear deck (bout the size of 6x9's) and built a box with the ports facing up towards the holes.....not what ur wanting to do but that seems to be all there is (according to them)

I'm really curious as to how this is going to turn out sq / spl wise... looking for input on whether i should go through all the effort to face them foward and seal them off or just fire them to the rear.

Why don't you want to do rear firing?

I have my sub rearfiring with open 6X9 holes and a 12" hole i the middle of my rear deck from whwere my sub used to be. Sounds pretty good, but I have no idea what it would soung like sealed up either...

I kind of wanted to do the sealed off forward firing to elimate all rattling from the trunk and put all of the displacement into the cabin.

i'm going to be doing the same with a 15" ava and a sentra. I got so much work to do. as a matter of fact i'm going to to get off the computer and get 'er done as the rednecks would say
