no. he likes sound quality, persay. i dont care what any of you say about the setup, it sounds very clean, accurate, very smooth. gets low, and loud. if anyone doubts me and has a fully loaded BTL, make a sealed box for it. try it yourself. i guarantee youll see that it sounds good. not as loud, or gets as low, but still loud and clean

my current setup with 1/3 the cone area would piss all over your setup in spl and sq. no wall

um. its not mine? and who knows maybe yours is louder (i doubt) but i never labled this car as the loudest in the world, or loudest anything.

6 15" BTL's, sealed, with 1500 watts, for a daily? That just... seems like a really poor plan imo. You/your friend used subs not designed for sealed applications, or that low of power, and are meant for SPL burping more than playing music daily. And no, just slapping them in sealed boxes will not make them sound good. That install is based around someone who really didn't have a good plan of what they wanted, or the most efficient way to accomplish it. But Im sure he's proud to be able to announce he has "six 15" BTL's" in there, so if that's what makes him happy, cool. But please, dont think you are gonna prove anything with this rig, everyone is right, its pretty much an abortion setup.

you made everyones argument more understandable with your "spl setup with tweeters". i know what everyone is saying, but i dont see the need to defend MYSELF when its someone elses stereo. just simply posting vids and pics, which is what people always want. supply and demand, even if u dont like the video... oh well. it gave people something to say. i personally agree with everyone, he should have went ported. i dont think there was room to do 6 15's ported in that truck the way he has it, but he also could have done 4 15's ported and had more power. i dont know the reason behind the build, all i know is its done, so im posting about it. ive personally heard it, and it is loud. obviously. but it really does sound very decent as well. i dunno what else to say.. ill abandon all comments in my thread and post a video of it playing music on monday. just sharing our "hobby" with everyone.

I have not read all of the other thread(s), but maybe you are taking people's negative comments too personally. I dont think anyone is trying to bag on your or your buddy too bad, at least not in this thread. If you think this is people getting impolite, you haven't been around here long enough yet. More than one person has said 'if he likes it, thats what matters'... so Im really not seeing this huge push to make you look bad here. What I saw was a video where you seem to be claiming you DO NOT agree with everyone, and you expect to somehow prove it.

Thankyou for posting pics/vids/etc. But please, next time expect and be prepared for negative comments. Comes with the territory around here. If you aren't prepared for negatives, dont post. That goes for everyone.
