If I have no preouts because of stock cd player, can I clip the speaker wire in the back and clip 2 end of the rca's and then wire it all back together will that work? Do I need a special box or something? I think i've seen this done, but the ppl who I saw do it were... well... not professionals by any means.

You will need line output converters. They are a box that takes the speaker level output and converts it to an RCA output.

Below is a link to one Crutchfield sells, but you can find them at Bestbuy and probably most car audio places as well.

A word of warning though:nono: , you will lose some sound quality with this setup. It just cannot replace pre amp RCA outputs like a aftermarket HU has.

Good luck

is the line converter thing the thing that clips into the speaker wire? if it is, then i only need to hook it into 1 of the speakers wires b/c this amp needs no balance as it is going for subs. am i right?
