How are the new PPI amps? Are they comparable to anything? What line is their "better" line the Phantom or Black Ice? I love the looks of their new amps, speakers and even their subs but I am not sure on the quality of their products nowadays. I know people loved the older PPI stuff and then it seemed like the last few years they were not getting as much love as they used to. Do their amps do rated power or more than rated or...? Also, how is the SQ on their amps? Sorry for so many questions but I have wondered about the new PPI stuff since it came out.
I have a lot of happy customers out there using the new Precision Power amplifiers. Black Ice and Phantom are basically comparable but different "flavors" for different people. Some people still want a big amp that's Class AB, and the Black Ice line does that. The Phantom amps are all Class D, quite small, very efficient, and dead quiet for the noise floor. Black Ice adds the balanced signal option using the Balanced Line Transmitter. This ensures a 100% noise free input signal. One BLT is required per pair of channels. There's a test report with bench measurements on the P900.4 here. They make rated power and more in some cases, such as the P1000.1 which is underrated.

I was extremely pleased with the P900.4 I ran for nearly a year in my car. I have these in stock and ready to order 24/7 at Easy Way Electronics, Inc 888-613-1633.

Thanks for the info. How underrated was the P1000.1? Do you have any links to bench tests like the P900.4?

The P1000.1 was underrated by 20%. This amp has a counterpart from Soundstream that's rated for 1,200W at 1 Ohm, yet it has the same internals as the P1000.1.

I love my p1000.1! Just wish they were strappable. When i need a 4ch,i will for sure get a P900.4.
