Not sure who makes PPI anymore but I wouldn't expect it to be anything like the oldschool american made ppi amplifiers. Seems like I read somewhere that somebody like power acoustic or planet audio bought the PPI name from directed

Epsilon bought PPI from Directed. Epsilon also owns Power Acoustik,Farenheit,SPL,Kole Audio,and Soundstream .

I heard was that PPI's entry level amplifiers will contain the current Soundstream Reference circuit boards.

Just glanced at the new reference series soundstreams. I don't see how they could share boards with these PPI's. They are not laid out the same at all. All the connections and adjustment knobs run along one side of the soundstream. The PPI has them on opposing ends.

humm. im thinking about gambling and going ahead and getting them who knows maybe ppi might be better than it was when direct had them.

I most likely will get it tomorrow. unless you have other suggestions around the same price. reason i started looking for ppi was becasue i had a a pc i thik it was 600.2 ...99 or early 2000's (handy me down) and it was powerful and clean. my dumb *** had them pushing 4 15 kicker cvr and i was grinnin from ear to ear. not one problem until kabloeeiy they jacked ma chit. (rant remembering my old stuff) oh if i do get it i will defiantly take pics.

It would be nice to see PPI make a comeback. Directed did a hell of a job ruining the reputation PPI had. Sad thing is there are a ton of people out there who don't know the difference between the old PPI and the new stuff. As long as it says precision power its all the same to them.
