PPI PC650 enough power for modest system?

That amplifier is doable BUT your install technique will play a larger factor than you would think! For example, your subs will probably need to be installed in a larger than usual ported enclosure that is tuned relatively low to produce more bass from less power. The only downside I could potentially see is issues with your 8" mids/midbass in that it (ETA 50 watts per mid) may not be enough to blend everything together. Then again, I tend to always end up picking horribly inefficient drivers that need gobs of power, so maybe you will get lucky.

The next pitfall I see here is that you appear to have 8 speakers and only 6 channels of power. Don't tell me you are going to be forced to run something... *GASP*... passive when your goal appears to be more SQ oriented.

thanks for the response....yes .....the 2 way is set up to run passive....

this is about what I figured....end result may not be enough power....

I guess I will need to hook it up and see...I was just looking for users of the amp to tell me how they liked or disliked it.
