I didn't realize the BPX amplifiers were 2 channels until I pulled up the user's manual.
According to the manual you are looking at the following power ratings:
1100W x 2 at 2 ohms
2200W x 1 at 4 ohms
2200W x 1 at 1 ohm in Parallel mode
EDIT: I am going to have to somewhat disagree with rc10mike under certain circumstances. I've used a Crossfire BMF1000d (Class D); a Clarion DPX1851 (Class GH), a Lunar L2125 (Class AB) all on a 13w6v2 in my Mustang. I noted no significant hits in sound quality going from between the various amplifiers, regardless of class.
Now that I have a calibrated microphone and TrueRTA, I guess I could repeat this test with my remaining amplifiers to see if there is any difference in output characteristics between the differing amplifier classes. Unfortunately, it won't be a lab environment, but, I can set each amplifier to give me a predefined output at a specific volume level.
