PPI PC2100 Thump Problem

and not the good kind.

I have recently acquired a PC2100 amp...and i went to use it other day..to see how it sounded...and i noticed when i go to next song on cd player, it does a loud thump, almost like a turn on thump. i know it's not cd player...other amp i have in install doesn't do this either. so i have to beleive it's the amp. it plays fine, just for some reason,makes this thump sound.

any ideas on what could be wrong/needs done?

sounds to me like there is a problem with the power supply,.mayby it is freaking out trying to stabalize the rail voltage after the song changes...its just a guess????.(im not a tech)..lol...contact db-r and ask him, chris will know for sure....http://www.db-r.com/index.html .....tell him ampjunkie refered you to him....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif this shouldnt cost very mmuch at all to fix...
