i had many recomondations for this amp to supply two 15" L7"s but they require 2000 watts rms and 4000 peak for the pair. (i also had a decent amount of people tell me a kicker kx 1200.1 would be ok too.) How would this accomodate these speakers only supplying 1500 watts paralled to 1 ohm, refering to the ppi. Is there something that i am not understanding?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

(The hell is that picture?)

Anyway, PPI is known for their almost unparalelled performance for many years (almost a generation before L7s were conceived) and they live up to that reputation. I do not know much on that particular model amp you have, but keeping a steady ohm through 2 subs designed for getting roughed up would be daunting to say the least. Best bet, bite the bullet, get 2 PPIs, run 4-1/0 G wire, and prepare for your head and ears to pop like bottles of champagne after the Lions win the super-bowl... (I have high hopes)

Precisely...what the hell is that on your hand?? a dead porcupine or chinchilla... gross...

Yeah those PCX 1500's are awesome amps...I still have one BNIB...But I wouldn't take them below 2 ohm mono if you want to keep it....I also have the matching BNIB PCX 4125 if you want your mids and highs to hang with the BASS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If interested in this pair PM me.

I'm sorry I looked at that wrong you said DCX 1500.1 they my work one ohm mono...My two are the better PCX series..I'm not familiar with the DCX 1500's but being PPI I'm sure they are good quality as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

PPI... man, I can remember when no one even heard of those things (myself included). They came a long way...

Precisely... PCX series are probably the best way to go
