Will an alpine PDX-5's 300W mono sub channel power two Phoenix Gold RSD 10d subwoofers?

The subs are Dual voice coil (not sure how this works), i just recieved them today and I just need to know if it will work.

Will it power them? Sure it will power them with 150W apiece. Will it get the full potential out of them? No... but try them anyways, if they get loud enough for you, that's all that really matters. Of course if they don't, then you'll probably need to shop around for a new sub amp.
Do you already have the PDX5?

What will the rest of they system consist of?

What are your system goals (SQ, SPL, SQL)?

front: PG RSD6.5 Components

Rear: PG RSD 6.5 coaxials

Subs: 2 PG RSD 10d's

AMP: PDX-5

I am trying to go for a budget SQ system that simply sounds great from iside the car and not out. I listen to all kinds of music, mostly R&B, hip hop, rock, etc.

Sound quality on a budget price is my main goal, but sometimes its nice to show offf a bit i guess.

Give it a shot... 300W to a pair of RSD's should get decently loud for an SQ setup. Port them if you are concerned that they won't give you enough output sealed.
