Powermaster Alternators anyone???

I just bought a 200a alt on ebay, I wana know what peoples experience was/is with powermaster. Has anyone clamped one? Do they do what they claim at idle and at peak? I know, I should have asked b4 I bought it but it was so cheap I couldn't refuse.

I bought one from mechman and he changed some of the internals on it, it was rated 120 idle 220 max and it benched 138 idle and 238 max. Dunno what all he did but i've had no issues.

ive seen their 16v batts and there nice and beefy, i would expect to see it do rated.

The alts do what they are supposed to. I ran one in my gas truck for a while.

Sepending on your price range and needs look at https://www.dcpowerinc.com/ . They build a pretty stout alternator as well.

Seen you already bought should be pretty good.

For the price, Powermaster alternators are pretty good

The only concern is they do alot less at idle when compared to other alternators..
