Hi all,

This is my first post on this forum //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Basically, i need to know what i will need, to be able to power 2 subs that are 1000W RMS (+/- 300) each. I like the look of the Pioneer TS-W3002D4's and i'm thinking of getting two of them. I also like the look of the 15" BlackAir's by Vibe and they're 1,300W RMS each.

I know i'm going to need a beasty 2 channel amp, but i'm sure that the car battery by itself is going to struggle to even half power these subs.

I know i'm going to need more batteries, but is it just a case of that? Or am i going to have to upgrade my alternator too? What gauge wiring would be suitable?

Thanks!

how many ohms and how many vc's?

then you will know what your options are

here's a wiring diagram. once you figure out how many ohms your gonna run an amp at then you can narrow down your options

also, wlecome to the forum

Ahh i see, sorry about that. The Pioneers are dual voice coils, along with a number of others i'm looking at. Thank you for the link, very helpful! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
