I'm going to pick up 2 of the edK.44s. However, since I'm poor, I'm going to keep my same amp for now (Hifonics z4000). It pushes 400 watts at 4 ohm bridged, so I would get 200 per sub. Is that enough power for now? I'll upgrade later. They will each be in a .9 to 1 cube foot box.

Its never enough power, but for now it will do. I'm running a PPI PC2400 400x1@4ohms into HE2 and it sounds good to me. would like to get some better 10s though.

yeh bro, ull be fine.. arnt they like 300 watts rms? 200 will make them sound really good, dont worry about it.

200 is plenty...its a really efficient sub.
