powerin 2 12'' orion h2

im interested in buying two 12'' h2. Their rms rating is 2000 watts. I need help on what amp or amps to buy to power them. I would rather have a single amp to power them, but havent had any luck finding one. any help is appreciated

I just got one H2, and the othere will be in by friday. What the spec's call for if you build a 1 cube box for each H2 is 1500 watts each, and if the box is like .75 cubes it is 2000 watts. My box is .70 each with polyfill and I am going to run one Orion 2500D. The one sub is running now it sounds good with that amount of space. If I were him I would build 1 cube each after displacemnt with no polyfill and one 2500D, get the dual 2 and run it at .5 ohm.

1 orion 2500d is great on these subs i have ran them for 2 years with many diff. amp, 1 2500d , 2 2500d's 4 1200d's

they really like the single 2500d or 2 1200d's

btw i have some of each for sale......sameless plug there....lol

Dont really have the room for 2 2500d's, very long amps. One 2500d and a large box, how about that?

I'll 2nd that. get yourself 2 dual 2's and run it at .5 ohm and you'll get over 3000 watts from it and you would have more options with your box. by maxing out the power rating on them there is only really 1 box that they like but do perform well in it.

No matter what amp you choose these are big amps your looking at and would need a very good electrical system to back them up.

I ran my alpine type r 12" subs with the 2500d at .5 ohm. They handled it very well. I got the H2 subs new for just over what you would pay for the type r so I got them. Sold the type r's, I didn't know how long they would last, but I did run them for about 2 months.
