Anyone ever use them. How good were they. How long did they last. What kindof system did you have behind it. I seen one on craigslist the other day. Looked in tip top shape. No rust dust or even mounting scraps. He wants 220 for it. I seen the one on there site for my Jeep is 299 so might be able to work on price. Its supposed to be a 220 amp alt. With 120 amps at idle. One odd thing about the alt is its one size fit all kindof thing. The top mount area has like five holes to I guess make it easy for installs.

Those alts ****.

They give you huge current numbers at low RPMs but no note of the voltage being given at any certain point throughout the RPM band.

Stay away, I had one in my Scoob, and it was disastrous

Nice thanks for the info. I thought it was kindof cheap for the " One Size fits all"
