hey guys im looking to get two 2xl-10 subs in a sealed box(i think), 800.2 amp for the subs, then a 400.4 amp for my comps, which are gonna be 2xl-6c and my coax are gonna be 3xl-692s, i need to know if powerbass is any good, i usally listen to all types of rap, all types of rock and techno i wanna be able to hear the bass but also hear the words you know i want it to sound nice and clean, you think this setup will work? thanks for all the help guys!

why did you go with 2xl on everything but your rear fill??? i've dealt with Powerbass first hand, i have products sitting in my garage right now (3XL-6C, S-6C,etc...). I've never had an issue with any Powerbass products. i have all Powerbass stuff in my g/f's car and she loves it. I also have it in her sister's car too and even my brothers too.

i agree with the medium range. I mean if this is your first full system or you're not really into car audio alot, it's cool. I put Powerbass in other ppl's car's I have even tried it in mine and have good responses every time. If you are getting it at a good price and it's what you want, go for it. don't you want something that no one else has. get what you want that is ultimately who you have to answer to.

theres a guy that is all about powerbass in town here as one of the local stores deals them, dude put like 6 grand into his hatch and is just now breaking 150s. Let us know what you need and your price range and we can help out better

im not looking to go into comp with these, i just wana a nice system that i can hear the words, and that sound nice with all types of rap and all types of rock and techno which is what i usally listen to so.....and yeah it wil be different cause not to many have pb (not sure if thats a good thing or not lol)

Powerbass makes some great products, I have been selling powerbass and powerbass xtreme for around 5 years now with very few problems. As for medium grade it depends on what line you are talking about! The 4xl will run with almost any other 15 on the market in terms of spl!!!!!!!!! The 3xl's are very well built woofers also. The xterme line of comps are well worth the $$$$. I would do a asa1000.1 on the 2xl's, they love 500rms each!!!!!!

I used to own a set of 2xl-15's. comperable to kicker comp vrs. I still had fun with them.

I'm sure you will still be able to hear your words, and the bass will be fine. Do the ASA amp if your going to keep it all powerbass though, nice little amps.
