Any body have any real life info on these subs? ive heard powerbass is a reputable brand, but nothing on these subs. im upgrading from sony xplods. thank god. so im trying to find some subs around the same price, that will be worth the effort.

if the powerbass's arent up to those standards, what would you recommend?

I would atleast go with the M series...they are closer to the old powerbass Blacks that I used to run.

My friend has a pair of 10s in his Blazer, I think they are the old versions of that sub. If they are, I'd consider them to be one of the best bang for buck sub at the price range. They are pretty loud(for the cash spent), and I'd say at that price range, would give most "SQ" speakers a run for their money. I don't think you'll be disappointed.Good luck with your choice.

My powerbass 15 subs are rally nice for what i paid, and they wang pretty hard in my car.

Those 12''s look like they'll run alright, just make sure if your upgrading ur system, you also upgrade your amp

No more sony @ all. Powerbass makes good amps too. Their a budget type company, but its all good hard working equipment.

Think about upping ur amp b4 u up any subs.

yeah im plannin on it. just a good 2 channel will do. but being that im 16, and arent allowed a job for a while well see what i can pick up. ive got 4 sub boxes to sell and friends that need them so well see if i can get enough for another amp.

any other comments are appriciated. amp recommendations too.

also, do you think there will be much of a difference between my sonys and the powerbass's?

yeah the parents wont let me. think im gonna get into drugs and such. well see. ill end up getting these i think if i can sell the xplods. thanks guys for eveyrthing

yeah not to go into my life story because no one cares. hah and i dont blame you. but my brother and sister got into alot of drugs because they had the money to do so. and were messed up as it is before... but my parents skip that fact and rely on only money being the reason. so i get screwed. i have my own business for my neighborhood and surrounding areas though. i do alot of landscaping and get payed 25 an hour. but its not guaranteed hours.
