they seem like a great deal.

I would be runnign them off of a fosgate 400-4. Would they be any good with 2 fosgate t1s running off of 1500 fosgate watts.

For the ultra low price they do pretty well as I've installed a bunch of them lately. $36 from millionbuy. Mids had some snap on kick drums and the tweets sounded pretty good actually. Not harsh or blaring. I've heard a lot worse sets that cost much more...

Just don't expect them to be the ultimate SQ set or the loudest you've ever heard and you'd probably be happy with them.

I did an ultra budget set up for a kid a few months ago. PB comps up front and coax's in the rear off a Profile amp. More then kept up with his 2 12's in the trunk and once I shut the horrible subs off I was surprised at how good I got them to sound with a little tuning. I'm sure he changed that and put the tweeters on +12 once he got the car and cranked up the mids until they distorted...

Those are decent.

If you want to spend a little more, Try and find a set of the 2XL 6.5 set. I use those they sound great!

The 3XL set is were its at for Powerbass comps, and from that I heard the 4XL (6.5 comps only) are great too.

you're going to need an adapter for them to work as ford use 5x7/6x8 speaker. I've got L-series 6x8s that you wouldn't need an adapter for if interested? i just sold a set of adapter for $15 but i'll be making another set b/c i need some. if you wanted I could make you a set. pm if interested in either.

the s series comps dont sound horrible however as previously mentioned they are not sq comps. i use to have a set of the 3xl comps and they sound pretty good too but again not sq comps. all of there comps can get pretty loud though.

also i have basically owned ever set of comps (old and new) so i can answer any questions about pb products if you have more
