Powerbass ASA 2200.1d?

First question, is powerbass a decent brand?

Also does anybody have any exp. with the 2200.1 and does it do close to rated power?

I saw the amp was discontinued so I was wondering if there were any problems with it. Last question, when an amplifier says it needs an external fuse, does that mean i have to buy another fuse and place it close to the amp or can i just use the fuse located up near the battery? Thanks

Powerbass is a decent brand , I think the ASA2000.1d was the one they had problems with and they were replaced with the ASA2200.1d

I used to have a powerbass asa 1000.1 D... its was a very good amp ibeleve they do have external fuses i forgot
