I am looking into purchasing one of these to put into the trunk of my alero to better handle the power of my 2 p3000 amps. .. site states (strapping two of our XA-4000 D Amplifiers together for each 2-ohm voice coil insures maximum voltage which equals maximum output). . those amps are rated 2700 watts at 2ohms. the sub is rated 2500wrms. . 10k max/burst. i cant find any info on this thing like reviews or personal experience. anyone seen one of these in action?

The 4XL is a SPL subwoofer, Do you plan on using for SPL?

I do not think they are intended for music at all. Might want to just get a pair of 3XL or 2XL.

yes im an spl competitor, and no they do not play music. i think we will be doing a blow thru with one in an s-10.
