Power wiring help

I recently purchased a Soundqubed 4500 to run 2 HDC3 15'S. I have a Mechman 270a alt, big 3 1/0 ofc, xs power d3400 up front and a xs power d1200 under the rear seat, and 2 runs of 1/0 ofc to the d1200. Will this be enough to power to run that amp? Should the power runs upfront be hooked to the alt or to the front battery?

If your Big 3 wiring upgrade is substantial enough, wiring to the battery or alt are basically equivalent. I think wiring to the alternator is best because it runs all the car's electrics while the engine is running, or should. The battery is there to store a massive amount of electrical power for that most crucial time, WHEN you start the internal combustion car's engine!

Holy crap!!! Don't listen to what John just said. Hook your power wire to your batteries! Lol. I can't comment on if you have enough batts and alt for that amp because I've never ran that much power but please ignore John kunthe. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

Gotcha Thanks!

It's more or less a modified "big3". Two runs of positive from the front battery to the alt and two negative runs from the front battery to the alt case. One negative run to the frame and one to the firewall is what I have now.

Your no help, troll.

Quit offering help/suggestions you know nothing about.

I would run at least 2+ runs back or 1 4/0

Those two front batteries are your main power reserve and you want them giving all the juice to that amp

You will see a difference over just 1 run of 1/0 back
