im going to be adding 2 batteries in the trunk soon, so im going to be doing 3 runs of negative, and 3 runs of positive, im told i need about 100 Ft for my 06 malibu. im just wondering what is good wire for a good price? and is there anything good on ebay? im thinking ill use 50ft black and 50 ft red for positive and negative confusions lol, i seen audiopipe wire is a good price, although im not sure how good it is, do people usually use tubing when doing this kind of operation aswell under the carpet?

thanks

Strand count is barely over 1000 sky high is 5278. Looks like 4 gauge wire. I wouldn't use it
I've been told cca will work just great for up to atleast 7k rms so I'm thinking its what ill use as its 100$ less per spool. Now I just need a good brand to buy

You have wrong info here bud. I wouldn't use cca wire for any power over 2400 rms Unless you like buying new amps and subs frequently. I already told you as far as what wire.and so has many others But your not listening. If to are planning in 3000 rms or more then ofc wire period

Since you're doing 3 runs of positive and 3 runs of negative CCA will be more than enough. I've personally got 100' of the Execution audio stuff coming, it's the same as AudioTechnix and has a good price to performance ratio

I'm currently using this wire in 1/0, 4 gauge and 6 gauge. It is as flexible or more than most car audio brands and works well. I won't bother with anything other than Excelene in the future.

That looks to be a good price.. is this good wire @mylows ;
I'd like to save money if possible

i am not saying anyone is wrong here, Im in no way recommending the OP to do this but i my self have 4 runs of install bay 1/0 CCA(

i myself dont see any problem with OP using CCA for 3k+ as long as he runs multiple runs. just my .2

so many opinions .. lol, theres a huge difference in price for the 100 Ft i need, i want to run 4-5k subs and 1-2k speakers, rms. so ill be doing 3 runs, 3 pos and 3 neg to 2 batteries in trunk

The Execution Audio wire also has a nicer jacket on it than the AT.

I ran 3.5k before on my cheap wire. 4 runs, 2 pos & 2 neg and did fine no issue or excessive voltage drop
