Power wire question

I am about to install a RF T1500 1 bd and a T400.4 amps. I already have a 4 gauge power wire in my current set up. Do I need to upgrade to a 0 ga power wire (battery to trunk) or can I just keep my 4 ga Raptor one. I will also be doing the big 3.

Ok. Thought I didn't have to spend more money, but okay I'll take your recommendations so I won't lament later.

If money is really tight, get a long enough piece of 0 to get it to a place for a distro block and then take the 4 ga you have and cut it in half and run to each amp. Might be able to save you some length on the 0 and use the 4 you already have.

Good idea but I think I'll bite the bullet and get the 0 ga from knu wires and do it rite.
I mean that way is doing it right. You'll have to split the 0 sometime to run it to both amps and 4 gauge is sufficient for each amp also as they aren't more than 2k.

In the end you'll still have to have a distro, and after the distro it'd be overkill on them two amps to use 0.
