my power wire and ground wire always keep slipping out of the amp terminals and i cant figure out why... It seams like when push the cable in as far as it will go and tighten the allen wrench screw thing this splits the wire in half so to speak and ends up slipping out a few days later. .. anyone else have this problem? or a solution? my box is not secure but it does not move around that much to where i would think that is the problem..

After your amp is hooked up do you see any wire at the end like you cut it a little to long?

If not try this not to much just a little bit long

i know what your saying its like right on the edge i tried to match it up perfectly.. should i cut a little more off to make 100 percent sure the wire gets all the way in?

What size is the wire? 4ga or? I usually put some heat shrink over the wire, then i put afork terminal on the end of the wire, then heat shrink it to make it look clean, then I take a pair of sharp wire cutters, and cut off one fork, and hook it back to the amp,It should work for you, you can even put a ring terminal on and cut it to one fork,if you cannot find a fork terminal.Just something I have done in the past to stop the nonsense:D

there called spade terminals. and NO!

OOOOOOh sorry, spade terminals...Ya.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ohsnap.gif.17c4c91be09a7a4a3995fb7145adac39.gif..Thanks Phoenix for the correction. Works just fine brother, and the allen screw grabs, and holds tightly:boink:

its still not the best connection. and if your running the right size wire in the terminal youll never have the issue of it coming out (if you know what your doing that is)

only reason that would actually happen is running way too small of a wire for the amp (which shows that person doesnt know what they are doing)

Not really true:word: He states that his unit is not stabilized, therefor it is moving around, and pulling the wire out,.Who is to say he didnt use the proper size/ga of power wiring for the amp??No one here, nor you or I are able to see it??By using the method I have stated, works, has worked for me, and is so cheap to do, that it should be a simple solution to fix the issue, and cost him his time, along with approx $2.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/awesome.gif.4430a219d9aaaa6cadc75e9290979dfb.gif
