Power to the Negative Terminal?

I got some new battery termnals from knukoncepts and my wires from my car take up all the space on the positive battery. MY question is, can i wire my power from my amp to hook up to the negative terminal or can u not do that?

No, power flows from + to - in a DC current.

well shiot then i am f'ed cuz i have no room to plug my wires into it....

If i got my old 8 gauge wiring could i connect the car wiring to that one wire then run that wire into my terminal?

I have no idea WTF that says...but it sounds like an over all jerry-rig method...so I'm going to go ahead and say don't do it anways (even though I really have no idea what in the hell you are talking about.....it just sounds like a bad idea).

squeek - the wires from my car are too thick to conect to the new terminals. so what i want to know is, if i get my old 8 gauge power wire from my old amp and connect it to the car wires in a clean fashion, then use that wire and connect it to my terminal will it work out?>??

So you basically want to splice into the factory battery wires for your power wire?

Bad idea, IMO. Leaves way too many options for something to go wrong.

What type of battery do you have? Does it use top posts or side posts/screws?

top post. The problem is the terminals dont have enough room for my wires. It is like having to 0 gauge wires that need plugged in but only one spot for them. There is a sport for the 0 gauge, and a sport half the size of that for the reg. car wiring

OK, wait. 400+ posts in two months, and you ask a question such as, can you hook the Power terminal on your amp to the negative post on the battery.....no wonder this forum is going to hell.

I have the same battery terminals, get some ring terminals and use them on the top spot that has the allen bolt. That's where i hooked up my power wire for my amp.
