Power to Line Driver

What gauge wire should i use to power up my line driver? I know i should prolly fuse it at the battery but what type of fuse and how many amps? Ive never had much experience w/ line drivers until off late since i bought one, so not much knowledge; help is appreciated. Thanks

A line driver does not need much current to operate and most certainly does not need to go to the battery for power. It can be hooked up with primary wire (16 or 18 gauge) and can be hooked up off of an amplifier. The unit will already have a fuse in it to the job.

Thats what i was planned on doing running it from the amp but i was told to use a 5amp or under fuse inline w/ the wire. Ill just wire her off the amp w/ some 16g primary wire. Is that cool.

Ya, If your not using the h/u to power speakers, you can use the factory ground no problem, best way would be to ground line amp and h/u to a single point on the firewall.
