Power Switch?

What's the best switch I can turn off my AMP while still having the radio on? I have a girlfriend that's pregnant and we'll be havin' the baby soon, so I need to be able to turn off the amp while the baby is in the car, but I don't want to have to turn off the stereo all together, so can anyone tell me what a good switch is that I can use to cut off the power from either my remote wire, or my power wire?

id say use the remote wire.....and any simple switch can handle that

if you use the remote wire(blue), and add a plain old switch to click on/off, it will work for you. You can even kinda hide it under the dash area to hide it from everyone.

I know it can be done, but I went lookin' around today at a few stores, and no one knew what I was talking about, even when I said it was, "Like a Light Switch." They still looked at me like I was retarded, I then went into one of the car audio places down here, and asked them if they had any switches I can use for this situation, and they said, "You shouldn't do that, you'll fry your amp turning it on and off to much." They of course didn't have any switches, so can anyone show me a website with some switches on the site I can either buy, or print out a picture. I have looked on google, but only found something about Germany's power...

got one???? good.....all you need to do next time is go to pep boys, home depot, etc..........they even sell the switch that lites up, if you are into that

Go to radio shack if you can't find a switch. They have drawers of em.
