power question

get a 500-600w 4 channel. use right and left chanels 1,2, for the front 2 6.5's and bridge the 3rd and 4th chanels for the subs.. make sure you set the amp to 2 channel mode and set ur highpass/lowpass filters..

1. Peak power ratings are useless, look at RMS instead as a predictor of how much power you'll need

2. Always buy an amp with some headroom (especially if it's a cheap amp or if you're runnign at low impedance), so if you have 150WRMS speakers, you might want to get a 200-300 W/ch amp.

You can use a 4x200W to drive the 2 subs and 2 speakers.

ok can i ask y? i dont need anything that good just some thing that will make some sound...... my friend has a jensen and it sound pretyy good .

Then buy it. I'm sure it will "make sound"... for a while, anyway.

It's just that, since you've found your way to the site, most would assume that you take your car audio seriously... But apparently this isn't really the case, since all you need is for it to"make some sound".

Maybe you should just leave everything stock. That will still "make some sound".
