power question for aftermarket head unit

i have a 07 ford five hundred im putting in an aftermarket headunit and i hooked up all the wires like it should be and when i turn the key off everything stays on like it should from the factory but when i open the door and everything should go off it stays on until u have to physically turn it off any suggestions on solving this problem would be appreciated oh and i have the 12v constant and the 12v switched hooked up as it should be too so im stuck as of now
