power problems.

I am putting 500w to my subs and i need 800-1000. they are the db212-2 and they are 360 a sub rms and id like to give em a little bit more than what they reccomend. Anyway if i give em an xtra 300-400 watts will they get louder and cleaner sound?

Depends on the box/woofer/install...a lot of things. Increasing power doesn't always make a noticable difference, but in your case, running just over half of what they are rated for, I'm sure they would sound better.
