Power Problem

Okay I have two batteries the one up under the hood and one in the trunk plus a five farad cap one day my cap was reading 14.6 volts wit the car running then today I go outside and its reading something like 15. 7 wit the car running and every time I turn up the music its like I have a break in the circuit like a ground wire came off and got put back on or something do U know what could be the problem
