I just hooked up new system and have 2 amps one mono and one 4 channel and was wondering if i had to run 2 seperate remote wires or can i just go from 1 amp to another cause thats how i have it right now. I ask this because when the bass hits all speakers shut off for one second. very annoying. If just the mids and highs are on at high power everything is fine. please help.

It shouldnt be a problem, but obvously you are having one.

Answer me a few questions

1)what car

2)what amps

3)what subs and how do you have them wired

4)how do you have the speakers wired

5)where did you ground your amps at

ok I have a 2000 ford expedition. Two hifonics amps 1 zx4400 and the brutis bx1500 which powers 2 12" kicker l5's. amp is 1 ohm stable so thats how I have it. And its all ground to the post were my 3rd row seat should be latched on to. Scraped all paint off . hope this helps.

it should have nothing to do with the remote wire, cause thats just a relay inside your amp that turns on your amp. how do you have your power wires connected? what size wire you running from battery? how much watts your amps are?

it's highly unlikely, but it may be a loose grounding wire. When the bass hits, it rattles the ground on the 4 channel amp and the amp loses power until the rattling stops.
