Power Hx2 Or Kicker L7?????

I made a new friend at school, and his Dad owns a local shop. He could hook me Up with either a 15" Power Hx2 or The L7 15". They would be powered by a JBL 1200.1 and a 4.0 Ported box. Which one and why. Looking for Straight SPL

Ive heard the L7's and the normal hx2's but not the power hx2. I think it will be a close match. Anyone else

I don't like Rockford myself, but I would not say they ****. What reason do you have for saying it sucks?

i'd have to give a pure SPL edge prolly to the power HX2 even though i really do hate RF products now after i cooked my 1000.1 i used to have. no offense to icpunk but i'd have to say that what loneranger stated in one thread is true here he prolly hasn't heard a power HX2 or even a punch HX2. anyway in pure SPL i think the power HX2 can beat an L7.

i've heard the l7's, i have 2 and im not happy w/the sound but they do hit hard. hx2's i say are much more powerful but my friends go through them in weeks. they can't last IMO. both are very very good though. good luck deciding.

I have used several RF products and some friends I know have the Power HX2, its definatly not worth the price, so you know that your paying mostly for the name rather than quality. Go with the kickers, but it would be alot better if your friends dad could hook you up with a jl w7

Arghh...there you go with the W7 again lol....thats a close one, I think I would have to choose the Power also...but the Kicker would be very loud also.

Power, but like i told you the other day..

the Kicker has much more potential to sound decent doing it...

my Power is a big loud fart, lol..

Plus with the cost of the L7 and Power, grab a couple 15 L5's, lol.
