Power Handling?

Wasup guys! If a sub has a motor rated @ 3000rms but it has custom quad Leads that can take up to 3500+rms. Can I add 3200-3500rms (Clean power) on sub all day everyday? Box will be 13.5-14cuft after all displacements.

If a sub is rated at 3k rms tge extra 500 will not hurt it

But then again if u r putting 3k to a single sub id be cautous

i havent paid attention to rms rating in forever since i started doing real stuff. i fond its more in the enclosure that will determine your power handling.

That's only roughly 17% more power so you should be fine as long as its clean power.

2 custom built PSi 18's is wat I'm getting. U aint heard of them? Their rated @ 3k but can take more as long as powers clean. Smashing dat Solo X u got on yo avatar.
