Power/Ground Wire Gauge Question

So I have 8 gauge wire running from my battery to my amp for my speakers. (DSC4125)

I'm about to wire 4 gauge wire and wire in another amp. (DSC1500.1D) I'm going to put a distro block in, but not sure if I want to put 2 8gauge wires out from the block from a 4 gauge in. Is there such a block that can do 1 4in, and 2 4out?

Does this make sense? I'm trying here... lol

what you have to determine is how far areyou running from the distro. to the amps. 8ga will be fine for almost all normal 4 ch amps. if you sub amp is with in 4 feet ofthe distro 8 ga will be fine also, if you want to use 4 ga.

most 4in to 8 out distro blocks can use 4 ga out. if you look at the output side there will most lkey be a sleave that can be removed to allow for a 4ga wire to be used.

So I won't lose any power or anything by going 1 '4in' to 2 '4out'?

It's a 350z, so there's not much room to travel. It's going to go from the front to the distro block in the back, right next to both amps.

40 bucks for a fused distro? thing better be made of gold

lol. no there distro blocks made of conductive metal of somekind. lmao, sorry. tis kins of silly thats all. you arent going to losoe anything noticable using a block dude. if it was made of gold it would cost a hell of alot more. lmao...sorry. im guessing there a hybrid aluminum copper alloy of some kind.

No, I know the block isn't conductive... but for example, they always say gold are better than silver for audio plugs... crap like that. I'm not worried either way... just bought two non fused for $26 bucks that are platinum, so not worried about it. Thanks !
