Power for strapped amps.

Ok, this may sound like a reeeally dumb question, but I tend to take wiring diagrams and instructions very literally because I assume they don't leave any room for interpretation. I was looking at the wiring diagram for strapping two DD ss1a's and it shows the power wire being only run to the master amp. Can this be right? The grounds are tied, the remotes are tied, but the power is only to the master. Wtf?

The other thing that lends credibility to it is that the diagram shows a single 120A inline fuse to the master, which happens to be twice that of the dual 30A onboard fusing of a single ss1a.

So what's the deal?

need power to both
