Why should we type out an explanation when you are too lazy to even type out a realistic question? As if you dont know what a battery is.

When I was a noob, internet boards like this did not exist. I learned by reading books, and hands-on. Not by wandering to a message board and asking 'gee whats a cap, battery and alternator?'

I told him to research. Your panties are in a wad because I didn't actually use the words "search button"? Get over it.

Ive already put more effort into this thread than the OP has in attempting to learn the topic he expects us rather to simply spoon-feed to him. If you are willing to type out the thorough reply it would take to explain what a battery is, what an alt is, what a cap is, how they work together and how they affect car audio... and then defend your positions to the legions of smart ***** around here who will undoubtedly cut you down at the knees for a typo, all to enlighten shermanpk, then be my guest. But so far all I see you doing is bitching at me for bitching at him.

You've never seen me harsh. This is all just slow-pitch softball.
