I have two Alpine Type R's. They are hooked up to a 1600 amp and it is drawing to much power from my car. All my lights are dimming and my highs beat to the music and i don't like it...I need a cap for it and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions so that everything gets the pwer that it is supposed to get. I would like to here this amp at fulll power and i thinkthat will help a lot... If anyone has any suggestions feel free to email me at DVSMIK74@aol.com thank you..

Your safest bet, would be to purchase a high output alternator from either Excessive Amperage or Irragi Alternators, depending on whether your car is domestic or an import. That would cost about $200 to $450 depending on what you need.

Next thing up would be to buy a Yellow Top, or equivalent, battery. That would run you $150 or so.

If you want to waste money, buy a capacitor. You could probably throw away around $70 for one of those.

Hope i helped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That's right, you do.

If you have a LOT of power consider doing this:

Big three (tutorials available all over the place)

High Output Alternator (There are group buys for Irragi Alternators here at CA.Com if you have a domestic and Excessive Amperage at SoundDomain if you have an import)

Get a Yellow / Blue top battery and put it in your trunk, using an isolator.

Enjoy
