power cable help

i am trying to run my power cable from my battery to the trunk, but cant find a way to do it. In my old car i just used an existing firewall, but i cant find anything big enough. Should i drill a hole from the engine compartment to the inside of the car or what?.

yeah, thats what you usually have to do. just make sure to double check that you aren't drilling into anything. and, use a grommet in the firewall, so as not to rub the wire on bare metal.

or, if you already have a hole available for your power cable from a previous install, just drill it out to a larger diameter to accept the extra wire.
