Power Acoustik

You might get 1500watts outta that amp, so not terrible for the price.

if you want cheaper look into the audiopipe 1500d, supposed to do rated for like $170 new

Well the reason I asked was because I can most likely get it for about 1/4 of the price. If I could get an Audipipe for $50 I sure as hell would, but at about the same watts out of them then I think I might go with this one? Any idea if it will clip at all, and how will the sub handle 1500 watts?

I've had an Power Acoustik A2400db, there 1.2 farad cap and currently using there QVC-2400 speaker amp. I bought the sub amp used and it has held up well for months. I then sold that.

I bought the cap and speaker amp brand new. the cap was sold and speaker amp is still working fine. the only negative thing is one of the rca input has trouble maintaining a connection because 1 of my door speakers keep cutting in and out. however, i am using some cheap RCA's so that could be part of the issue as well.

ps: they dont do rated power. more like 75-80% of rated power

Yea, I don't really need rated power. An AQ HDC3 15 should take 1500 watts yes, and if the amp does happen to do rated power then hopefully it will take 2k watts. Anyways, would it be smart to power this off of a optima yellowtop in the trunk or something?
