And just because my cell phone cam sucks, here's the stock pic:
I installed this thing in an Isuzu Rodeo for my buddy Charles. It cost him $190 from a local shop (Street Soundz FTW!) I gotta say- it was a good price because to get the same thing online with shipping, it'd be about the same price. Charles got a Wally World amp kit for $25, so the total cost of the system was $215 + tax.
Anyhow, I wasn't expecting much, I mean.... it's a PA 10" powered sub. Well, I installed it in a little under an hour, and fired it up. I gotta say, I was very, very impressed with this little bugger. I mean for a $200 package, this is very hard to beat. Especially since we bought it retail, BNIB. It got pretty darn loud for what it was, and the SQ was excellent. I mean it's no W6V2 or Mag or anything, but for a PA, it sounds excellent. It got pretty low, too. It played down to the low 30's and didn't complain. It's a very compact little package, too. That's the main reason my friend bought it. He's always carrying stuff around and wanted something that didn't take up much space.
The only thing I saw that was wrong with it is that the attached amp gets pretty warm pretty quick. I set the gains a tad high, though.
