i have a PA A3000DB

1100@4ohms

1800@2ohms

2300@1ohm

3000MAX

now ive been running it at 2ohms wit my 4 12's.

i have a comp this sunday comin up, i plan on wiring everything down to .5ohms. can n e one tell me how long this amp will do it for till it overheats or goes into protection?

I wouldn't do it for more than burps. It might take it all day long but I couldn't afford to take the risk.

Set it up, burp it for 4 seconds then stop. Should be ok. I'm not an expert though so do it at your own risk

yeah thanks man. i was just wonderin cause i ran my alpine 1507 @ 2ohms mono b4, it lasted about a minute n a half before shuting off. it came back on and was fine. so thats y i was wonderin if i could do it on this pa. its only a .5ohm drop instead of a whole 2ohm drop.
