Power Acoustik A3000DB

this does 1800 at 2 ohms right? so Im getting 2 12' l7s i would need DVC 2's right. Is this a good am. I couldnt find much about it does it accept 4 or 2 or 0 I have a regular alternator on an s10 I will do the big three but if I didnt would it kill my truck on what I have stock? Would this be good for 2 12 l7s 06 modle or should I go with the 2006d I am having alot fo problems picking out an amp for a good price I want to go with the best for a low price(who doesnt) Just dont wanna spend 300-400 and 500 on subs to be dissapointed. Thank you for any input.

the A3000 will do somewhere decent to its rms, maybe 1600 or so, but it accepts 4 ga, but what you have to do is fuse externally a few inches or a foot before the amp because it dosent have an internal fuse, get about a 150-180a fuse and put 1/0 in and run 4ga out to the amp

get 2 DVC2 subs and wire each one in a series to 4 ohms then after you wire them to 4ohms connect the 2 pos and 2 neg together, will give you a 2ohm load, or if you want you can get 2 dual 4's and run the amp at 1ohm, just keep the gains down, but i would probably suggest 2ohms

If these PA's are not all that bad, I just might pick up 2. I have 5 assasin 8's an have been planning on doing 16 on a 40.1. But I could save a crapload of money that I really don't have right now, an get the same watts. What do you think bamaboy? since you have experience with them
