power acoustik a3000db or Hifonics bxi 2608

any more opinions on this 1 guys. Ive now sold my hifonics 1606 so now want to buy the 2608 (2600 rms) version. Im getting closer to clicking the buy it now button from audio savings. $399 is the price

it only does the 2600 on more than 14.4 volts... the PA3000DB does 2700 at 13.8 volts so unless you have a high output alternator set at 16-18 volts then i would go with the PA and save some money.

lol i don't know where those numbers came from. I've had 2 3000db's before and their loud don't get me wrong, but I say go with the hifonics 2600 though. Theres no doubt its more powerful and would probably sound better too. Not to mention it looks a hell of a lot better aswell. Do it big and go with the hifonics.

Well I think Hifonics it is. Seriously tho, my 1606 pounded my 2 premier 1000w rms subs and it never even got warm. It did however get quite warm when I pounded it for extensively long periods liKe 4 hrs of jus cruzing so Im sure this model will murder them. Cant wait. BUY IT NOW HERE i COME LOL

LOL

newer hifonics do rated power, older ones maybeee close, but i highly DOUBT the PA does 2700 @ 13.8... I just bought my 2607d 2 days ago and I believe thats what you should go with! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif have fun pounding those subs, and I bet you will be able to hear a very good audible difference between the 2 hifonics amps

Yer, I will definately have fun pounding them, had loadza fun with the 1606. Awesome power for little money. have just bought it so cant wait to see the difference it makes compared to the other

those are clamped stats from locals in florida. hifonics may do rated power but they are rated at a higher voltage. trust cuz one guy has 5 18's in a van and is running 5 GP-3000d's on a 12v system(ranges from 14.4-12 or lower*if you dont know what you are doing*) and gets 2300-2700 out of them depending on imp rise. never the 3000 listed unless he jumped it to 16v

fyi i only got 1658 watts out of my pa at 12.8 and i think i got 18xx from the hifonics at around the same voltage. get the hifonics.

Martian dirt is apparently good enough for asparagus to grow in, NASA scientists said Thursday, as they announced the results of a soil analysis collected by the US Phoenix Mars lander.

"There is nothing about the soil that would preclude life. In fact it seems very friendly," said Samuel Kounaves, the project's lead chemist at the University of Arizona in a telephone press conference.

"The soil you have there is the type of soil you have in your backyard," said Kounaves. "You may be able to grow asparagus very well."

The analysis is based on a cubic centimeter of soil scooped up by the lander's robotic arm and introduced into one of its eight ovens, where it was gradually heated up to 1,000 degrees Celsius.
