alot of the people i hang around with can drive perfectly fine when they are high, mainly b/c they concentrate so hard so that they dont mess up.

I am sober now and have been for about 5 years. I have smoked enough weed to fill a small trunk of a car. I have smoked enough meth to pay for a Honda civic. To top it off I have smoked about $5000.00 worth of crack. Do I feel cool telling you this? No. I am telling you all this because I have been there and done that. Personally, I don't think weed is all that bad. However, it does make you slower than if you didn't smoke it. Another down fall is that from my experience with friends, relatives, aquantences, and others is that one who smokes weed tends not to have any goals in life except getting high. I should know cause I was one of those people for about 7 years. It doesn't make you a bad person, it just hinders your potential to be a better person.

I have no intention of this being a judgemental post. I just hope that maybe one of you people that tokes up will read this and come to the realization that besides the temporary high, it really doesn't do anything for you. It took me a couple years of sobriety to realize how much it was getting in the way of me making a better life for myself. Agreed, but typically those who do smoke don't have any real goals. For example:college. There are a lot of people in college that blaze, but most of them dropped out in the first semester. I am just trying to point out that it typically gets in the way of those goals that one has.

I dont disagree with u there... ive seen it happen many times before with some of my friends dropping out of highschool just cause they dont give a **** anymore... they're losers

Your not any better than him. I'd simply point out the fact that your train of thought is malfunctioning, but then you'd do about 3 hours of research and come up with some article nobody will click on to try and proove that weed helps you get in touch with yourself. Which in turn shows how seriously weed has screwed up your head if your going to spend that much time trying to proove your point which cannot be prooven.

i know, im a prime example. i was an A B student a few years ago, then i moved to SC and shit really just went downhill...it wasnt nessecarily the weed. it was more or less my attitude on life. i didnt really start smokin til a year ago. ive been livin in carolina for 6 years now.

dude seriously...your "point" had to do with cotton, and the declaration of independance....what the hell does that have to do with making marijuana legal...not a thing, as ive stated before.

and for the people sayin cannabis is addictive. its been proven not to be addictive until extremetly high levels of THC are introdued, more than someone can possibly smoke. the reason your brother is "addicted" is cause he is weak in his mind and thus uses it as a crutch.
