Possibly kickpods?

I've been thinking about making some kick pods for my 6.5's up front. Right now I have them fudged into my doors (came with 5.25's stock, but I crammed the 6.5's in there) (Viper 650.2)'s

How much will this help with my midbass? (200+Hz) Right now it sounds pretty bad, so I have to HPF filter them.
