Possiblly selling eclipse subs. Help?

First off I'm not sure if I'm in the right spot to be posting this. I'm sorry if that's the case but I couldn't find anywhere else and I'm new.

Details: I have an eclipse titanium 15" and an eclipse 8" sub.

The 15" sub has an 4" tear in the sorround as I let it bump an edge and I literally hate myself for it. Lol

The 8" sub has virtually no scratches and absolutely no tears.

Here's the question. Are either of them worth selling? Or just some things to throw away/put them in the attic.

I would sell them both if I knew they would be worth selling and I would post a thread in the selling subwoofers section. Thanks in advance.

Depending on what subs they are, I am sure they are worth something to somebody. If it's the Ti that I think you're talking about, that's a great motor and basket.

do you know the serial because if it is the ti there are two versions of it

^^^ yes.... lol I had a 88150ti , I riped it apart sold the motor n basket I kept the surround, coil,and conei wud be interested in the 15

It's pretty late and the subs are in the Garage. I'll get the serial numbers along with the pics in the morning.

Now that you say that would you be interested in selling the sorround?Or all of it? haha

This may closed or moved since its in a FS section with no pics... You could always have the 15 rebuilt if you wanted?

I looked into getting It rebuilt.

Eclipse audio is out of business and every website I tried to get to fix it would never respond to me. It's only the rubber sorround thats messed up with a 4" cut.

Ya you probably won't have any luck find eclipse parts but SPL audio or PSI could build a recone for it...

I did... Lol. I put super glue and rubber sealant on both inside and outside, haven't gotten around to hooking it up though.:/

I only said anything about parts is because somebody^ said they had a rubber sorround from their old one.

Odds are you can glue that surround. I'd use Amazing Goop glue on surrounds. CA glue (superglue) doesn't stick to that sort of rubber terribly well in my experience.

Sub is most likely worth selling even broken though.
