I sold my subs so i was just wonderin if i could drop home audio loud speakers in it, like sony or techniques at like 100-200 watts. the amp is an orion 800 watt, i asume i gota put turn the amp down

I don't see why not. I knew a kid that had a Sony tower speaker in his ranger and it worked fine.

Well actually...you will more than likely have to turn the gains up higher as most home speakers are 8 ohm whereas most car audio amps are rated at 4 ohms...so you will more than likely get half the power by doing that...

Lots of the SQ guys like to do that. Good subs for that kind of applicaation are the Adire Audio subs, the JM Labs Focal Home Audio Line, Dynaudio Hoime speakers.

I've even heard of guys dropping klipsch bass horns in the back of Suburbans.
