HAHA I just nearly spit coke all over my monitor after scrolling over that quickly lol.

Maybe I am mistaken but isn't this old news. I thought I was hearing a little while back that they had discovered about 4 billion barrels of crude in North Dakota. But it wasn't in the standard form but actually attached or held inside the shale or something like that. Would require a special way to harvest it instead of the standard drill and pump.

4 billion barrels of oil really isn't a lot considering the US alone uses in the area of about 20 million barrels on a daily basis (4 billion barrels = ~200 days worth of oil) ...

old news.... I heard it isnt a pool of oil...but oil found hardened in the rocks...which will take YEARSSSSSS to mine out...

true...but you need to factor in the fact that those 200 days would be balanced with the other oil we use already...making it last a LOT longer than 200 days

They need to change the laws. We can't drill off our shores but other people can drill for oil, like 50 miles across the line. Their most likely getting oil that could be tapped from our land. wouldnt last all that long
