Porting to the side??

Well, I tried porting into the car.. No good, it's louder facing the trunk, but the only problem is that my amps don't fit it it facing backwards, well.. No well anyway.

But everything will fit well if the port it to the side of the trunk.

comments? I mean, I guess just hook it up and see, but thats a pain in the ***, if I am just going to change it again..
